Job summary

CoreLife, in partnership with Novant Health, seeks a Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA/CCMA) to join a 4-day work week clinical team. You’ll deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care within an integrated care model that unites providers, dietitians, behavioral health specialists, and fitness professionals.

Responsibilities include supporting clinicians, recording vital signs, POCT, venipuncture, EMR documentation, patient education, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) required.
• CPR Certification.
• Strong patient care and communication skills.
• Team-oriented and detail-focused.

Responsibilities

• Support providers with clinical and preventive patient care.
• Obtain and document vital signs and body composition metrics.
• Perform point-of-care testing (POCT) and venipuncture.
• Assist with patient intake, medical history updates, and EMR documentation.
• Educate and support patients throughout their care journey.
• Maintain clean, safe, and compliant clinical environments.
• Assist with prior authorizations, refills, and patient communication.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure seamless patient care.

As a Medical Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in delivering compassionate, high-quality patient care within this collaborative model.

What You’ll Do

• Support providers with clinical and preventive patient care
• Obtain and document vital signs and body composition metrics (BP, weight, pulse, etc.)
• Perform point-of-care testing (POCT) and venipuncture
• Assist with patient intake, medical history updates, and EMR documentation
• Educate and support patients throughout their care journey
• Maintain clean, safe, and compliant clinical environments
• Assist with prior authorizations, refills, and patient communication
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure seamless patient care
