Job summary

Schweiger Dermatology Group in Newport Beach is seeking a Full-Time Medical Assistant for the Avocado Office to support physicians in dermatology, cosmetic, and laser procedures. You will record treatments, prepare rooms, and assist with patient flow and post-care instructions.

Ideal candidates have dermatology and healthcare experience, are proficient with EMR systems, and demonstrate strong communication and patient relations. This role offers weekday hours and competitive pay.

• Nationally Certified Medical Assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician in medical, cosmetic and laser procedures.
• Record prescribed treatments, medications, biopsies, cultures, photos, prescriptions, prior authorizations and procedures.
• Prepare rooms and ensure equipment is ready for each shift.
• Perform inventory and stocking of supplies and equipment.
• Support team with patient flow and post-care instructions.

The Medical Assistant is responsible for performing the highest quality of medical, clinical, and clerical tasks in a medical setting. Previous healthcare experience is required. Dermatology experience is required.Schedule: Full time, 30+ hours. Availability Monday through Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm.
