Job summary

Schweiger is seeking a Full-Time Medical Assistant at our Spring Street Uptown Office to support dermatology care and patient flow. You will assist physicians in medical, cosmetic and laser procedures, record treatments, and help with clerical tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Experience in dermatology and EMR systems is preferred; strong communication and organizational skills are essential for teamwork and delivering excellent patient service.

Qualifications

• Dermatology experience preferred.
• Healthcare experience required.
• Nationally certified CMA preferred.
• Proficient with EMR and scheduling systems.
• Computer literacy: Word/Excel/Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in medical, cosmetic and laser procedures.
• Record prescribed treatments, medications, biopsies and photos.
• Prepare and stock exam rooms; check equipment daily.
• Provide pre-care and post-care instructions to patients.
• Support front desk with clerical tasks as needed.

The Medical Assistant is responsible for performing the highest quality of medical, clinical, and clerical tasks in a medical setting. Previous healthcare experience is required. We employ college graduates and gap year students who have an interest in the medical field, whether you have majored in the sciences or are switching tracks, we want to help you on your journey!Schedule: Full time, 30+ hours. Availability Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays within operating hours of 7:00am-7:30pm.
