Job summary

Schweiger is hiring a Full-Time Medical Assistant for the Englewood Cliffs Office. The role covers medical, clinical, and clerical tasks in a dermatology setting, with prior healthcare experience required. Dermatology experience is preferred.

Schedule is 30+ hours weekly, Mon–Fri with rotating Saturdays, within 7a–7:30p and flexible teamwork to cover shifts.

Qualifications

• Healthcare experience required.
• Nationally Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
• Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems.
• Must be computer savvy and familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Excellent patient relation and customer services skills.
• Open availability to work during weekdays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere to enhance quality of service and care.
• Assist physician in medical, cosmetic and laser procedures.
• Assist provider in recording prescribed treatments, medications, biopsies, cultures, photos, prescriptions, prior authorization and procedures within established guidelines.
• Understand provider to patient flow and anticipate provider’s next steps to the best of their ability.
• Prep rooms before and after patients, including checking all equipment at the beginning of each shift.
• Provide pre-care and post-care treatment instructions as needed.
• Daily scan all retail and cosmetic products and medical supplies and alert Head MA and/or GM of any low level supplies.
• Perform inventory responsibilities and stocking of supplies and equipment as requested.
• Attend all in-house training and continued education opportunities.

Job Summary

Full-Time Medical Assistant at our Englewood Cliffs Office. The Medical Assistant is responsible for performing the highest quality of medical, clinical, and clerical tasks in a medical setting. Previous healthcare experience is required. Dermatology experience is preferred.

Schedule: Full time, 30+ hours. Availability Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays within operating hours of 7a-730p. Open Flexibility to help cover in a team environment is needed.

Responsibilities

Hourly Pay Range: $19-24
