Job summary

OnePeak Medical is seeking a Medical Assistant to support providers with both administrative tasks and direct patient care at our Eugene, Oregon location. You will help with rooming patients, managing the inbox, handling prescriptions, and maintaining exam rooms and charts in our EHR/EPM systems.

The role emphasizes patient education, timely communication with patients via portal, and cross-training across clinic areas including phlebotomy and front desk duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• Recent Medical Assistant experience preferred.
• CMA certification preferred.
• CPT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support providers with administrative tasks and patient care.
• Manage inbox, prescriptions, refills, and faxes.
• Room patients and assist with intake and rooming.
• Prepare and stock exam/treatment rooms.
• Maintain patient charts with outside labs and notes.
• Document in EHR and EPM systems per protocols.
• Provide patient education and assist with scheduling.
• Handle callbacks and patient portal inquiries.
• Cross-train in lab, phlebotomy, and front desk duties.
• Attend meetings and trainings; comply with HIPAA/OSHA.
