Job summary

OnePeak Medical in The Dalles, OR, is seeking a Medical Assistant to support providers with administrative tasks and patient care, ensuring high patient satisfaction through excellent service.

The role involves rooming patients, handling prescriptions, chart preparation, and active use of EHR/EPM systems, while upholding HIPAA and OSHA standards. Travel to other clinics may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• CMA certification strongly preferred.
• CPT certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Medical Assistant for the designated provider(s).
• Assist with inbox management, prescriptions, refills, and faxes.
• Room patients and support intake procedures.
• Prepare, stock, and clean exam rooms and equipment.
• Prepare patient charts including outside lab results and notes.
• Document in EHR/EPM per protocols.
• Educate patients and assist with scheduling and front desk tasks.
• Handle callbacks and patient portal inquiries promptly.
• Cross-train in lab, phlebotomy, and front desk duties.
