NextCare Urgent Care in Arizona is seeking a Medical Assistant to support fast-paced urgent care clinics. You will assist providers with exams, take vitals, administer medications, draw blood, collect specimens, and perform front-office duties as needed to ensure smooth patient flow.

The role requires completion of an approved Medical Assistant program or equivalent with national certification (CMA/CCMA/RMA) if the program is unapproved, and proficiency in EMR/EHR systems.

Formación

• Education: Minimum of an approved Medical Assistant training program.
• Or an unapproved MA program plus national certification (CMA/CCMA/RMA).

Responsabilidades

• Assist provider with exams, patient vitals, and procedures.
• Administer medications per policy and provider direction.
• Perform blood draws and urine collections as directed.
• May perform splinting, casting, and sports physicals.
• Conduct front office tasks: greet patients, manage wait times, and collect payments.
