Qualifications

• Must have Medical Assistant diploma, certification, or graduate transcript.
• NextGen EHR experience and familiarity with an interventional pain medicine office are a plus.
• Strong typing and math skills, ten-key by touch, and excellent telephone skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and enter new patient information.
• Check patients in and out and verify insurance coverage.
• Answer telephones and schedule appointments.
• Collect co-payments and assist with procedures.
• Clean and stock rooms; manage refills and pre-certifications.
• Room patients and schedule procedures; assist with lab work.
• Perform EHR charting and various clinical duties as needed.
