JMH is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians and the care team in both front and back office roles. You will gather and organize health information, ensuring smooth patient flow and accurate documentation of data.

Requirements include completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program, 1 year ambulatory and EMR experience preferred, and BLS certification. CCMA/CMA preferred; phlebotomy certification is a plus for certain departments.

Qualifications

• Completion of Medical Assistant Program is required and accredited.
• 1 year ambulatory experience preferred.
• 1 year EMR experience preferred.
• BLS - Basic Life Support certification required.
• CCMA or CMA preferred.
• Phlebotomy CPT preferred for some departments.

Responsabilités

• Perform clinical and administrative duties in front or back office to support physicians and care teams.
• Gather, organize, and document health information to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Assist with venipuncture and basic procedures as competency allows.
• Report to practice manager, RN supervisor, or director.
