Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an MA training program required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• FingerPrint Clearance Card (FPC) required or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and escort patients to exam rooms.
• Take vital signs and document chief complaints.
• Assist physicians/clinicians during exams and procedures.
• Perform front-office duties: reception, scheduling and phone intake.
• Administer injections and TB testing as directed by provider.
• Coordinate with insurance for authorizations and referrals.
