HonorHealth's Shea Medical Office Building in Scottsdale seeks a Medical Assistant to provide front and back office support, escort patients to exam rooms, and ensure clean, stocked treatment areas. Under the supervision of a provider, the MA will assist with exams and routine procedures.

The role includes taking vital signs, scheduling, submittal of insurance information, venipuncture, and basic lab work. Required BLS and a Fingerprint Clearance Card; CMA/CCMA/RMA certification is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a medical assistant training program required.
• BLS certification required.
• Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
• Completion of a certified MA program or CMA/CCMA/RMA path is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Prepares and maintains clean, stocked exam rooms and provides front and back office support.
• Escorts patients to exam rooms and takes a brief history; records vital signs.
• Under Provider direction, assists during examinations and procedures.
• Performs venipuncture and basic CLIA-waived lab tests; may perform injections and TB testing.
• Receives calls, schedules appointments, and communicates with insurance and referrals as needed.
