Job summary

Qualifications

• Proficiency in phlebotomy, EKGs, and PFTs.
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in recording medical histories and vital signs.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients to obtain comprehensive medical histories, ensuring accurate information is recorded.
• Prepare clinical charts and conduct Medical Opinion (IMO) research prior to appointment to facilitate service delivery.
• Update and maintain medical records and billing reports.
• Prepare and sanitize exam rooms and medical instruments for a hygienic environment.
• Escort claimants to examination rooms and assist with their needs during visits.
• Send diagnostics to appropriate facilities and ensure timely processing of results.
• Record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
• Collaborate with the Supervisor to keep clinic on schedule.
• Perform blood draws for diagnostic purposes.
• Conduct EKGs, PFTs, and ABI as directed by providers.
• Assist with prescreening visitors and scheduling via PracticeSuite.
• Comply with Infection Control policies and general housekeeping procedures.
• Operate office equipment and manage communications.
• Assist in inventory management and supply ordering.
