Job summary

CentroMed is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians with examinations and nursing tasks across our clinics, ensuring efficient patient flow and accurate recordkeeping.

The role entails patient intake (history and vital signs), immunizations, administering medications and treatments, basic lab duties, and coordinating care with providers. Travel to other CentroMed sites may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a Medical Assisting Program.
• 1 year clinic or hospital experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Intake: record patient history and vital signs and document in the medical record.
• Administers patient immunizations following clinical protocols and provider's instructions.
• Administers medications and treatments ordered by the provider.
• Maintains lab duties, including quality checks and specimen processing.
• Travels to other CentroMed sites as needed.
