Job summary

Concentra is seeking a Medical Assistant - Float to support our Lawrenceville center. You will perform routine medical procedures, assist clinicians, and manage front and back office duties to ensure a smooth patient experience.

The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and adherence to HIPAA. You will contribute to DOT testing, phlebotomy, vital signs, and other duties in a fast-paced environment, with scheduling across multiple shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program with externship preferred.
• Or at least one year of direct patient care experience as a medical assistant.
• Military medical specialist experience may meet credentials in state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT and Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing.
• Prepare patients for physical examinations including vital signs and ancillary testing.
• Assist providers during examination and treatment.
• Greet patients and manage front/back office tasks and records.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and cleanliness of the center.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and proper documentation.
