INTEGRIS Health is hiring a day shift, full‑time Medical Assistant Float for the INTEGRIS Health Medical Group Primary Care Outpatient Clinic in Grove, OK. The role supports multiple clinics by performing vitals, history-taking, venipuncture, and referrals under provider supervision.

The ideal candidate holds a current Medical Assistant certification/registration, with 6 months of clinic MA experience acceptable, and CPR/BLS within 90 days.

Formación

• Current nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification/registration.
• 6 months of clinic MA experience could substitute certification.
• CPR or BLS certification within 90 days of employment.
• Strong English communication (verbal/written).
• Must have Oklahoma driver’s license and insurable driving record.

Responsabilidades

• Gathers and documents patient information including vitals, history, and education needs.
• Performs duties as directed: venipuncture, labs, referrals, and patient calls.
• Manages high patient volume with professional telephone etiquette.
• Floats to clinics in need of support and assists in care planning and execution.

Responsibilities

The Medical Assistant Float provides direct patient care by taking vitals, patient history, venipuncture, lab, x‑ray, referrals, and patient phone messages as directed by the provider and/or clinical supervisor.

The Medical Assistant Float responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Gathers and documents information about patient condition, which include lab values, pain levels, patient education needs, nutritional status and potential complications
• Contributes to the assessment/re‑assessment of patients
• Monitors and documents patient status
• Participates in the development of the plan of care, including implementation and evaluation of appropriate patient care interventions which may include medication administration (exclusive of narcotics)
• Manages large call volume while maintaining excellent telephone etiquette
• Organizes workflow to meet patient needs in a timely manner
• May retrieve and transport medications
• Floats to clinics that need support when conducting patient care.
• Reports to assigned director, manager, supervisor or lead.

Qualifications

MA Float Qualifications:

• Current nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification/registration; OR 6 of months of clinic MA experience

AND

• 6 months of customer service experience preferred
• CPR or BLS certification within 90 days of employment
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English (Verbal/Written)
• This job requires the incumbents to operate an INTEGRIS‑owned vehicle OR personal vehicle (non‑INTEGRIS‑owned) and therefore must have a current Oklahoma State Driver's License as well as a driving record which is acceptable to our insurance carrier.
