Job summary

First Flight Health Centers is looking for a compassionate Float Medical Assistant to join their mission-driven community health team in Dayton, OH. In this full-time role, you will support medical providers and ensure excellent patient care.

The ideal candidate will possess a degree from an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience along with CPR certification. Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or 3 years of experience.
  • CPR certification is mandatory.
  • Strong computer and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

  • Rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, and updating medical histories.
  • Assisting with procedures and exams.
  • Performing clinical duties such as injections, EKGs, venipuncture, and lab testing.
  • Documenting patient information in the EMR.
  • Coordinating patient flow and supporting providers.
  • Educating patients and supporting follow-up care.
  • Maintaining exam rooms, supplies, and equipment.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For
Required

  • Medical Assistant certification
  • EMR experience0–2 years of clinical experience
  • Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding
