Job summary

Cedar Point Health LLC is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join its float pool, supporting primary care and urgent care services across Montrose and surrounding locations. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a physician’s office or similar setting.
• Ability to work as part of a team with clinicians.
• Willing to cover at multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-visit planning by reviewing patient records and coordinating with the provider.
• Escort patients, take vitals, and prepare exam rooms for procedures.
• Maintain exam rooms, stock supplies, and keep equipment clean.
• Gives injections, assists with EKGs and OB/GYN tests as needed.
• Maintain medication records and respond to medication requests.
• Triage, schedule same-day appointments, and respond to patient inquiries.
• Educate patients and coordinate care with outside providers and pharmacies.
• Communicate with labs, insurers, and hospitals as required.
• Perform related duties and cover at different Cedar Point Health locations.
