Job summary

Saint Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, MO offers a 10-week paid Medical Assistant Cohort Program designed to teach medical terminology, anatomy & physiology, pharmacology, medication administration, infection control, BLS certification, and patient care excellence.

Upon completion, participants transition into a full-time Medical Assistant position with Saint Luke's Physician Group at their home clinic, joining a core primary care team.

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year of applicable experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required by American Heart Association or Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Complete a 10-week paid training with classroom and clinical sessions.
• Transition into a full-time Medical Assistant role within Saint Luke's Physician Group.
• Work within your assigned home clinic alongside a Success Coach.

Are you passionate about helping others and interested in a career in healthcare? Saint Luke's is offering a 10-week paid Medical Assistant Cohort Program designed to provide the education, hands-on training, and support needed to become a successful Medical Assistant.

Featured Full-Time Opportunity

Upon successful completion of the cohort, participants will transition into a full-time Medical Assistant position with our Float Pool . This opportunity allows you to apply the skills learned during the program while becoming an integral part of a primary care team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care.

Program Structure

• Weeks 1-5: Classroom instruction and skills development
• Weeks 5-8: Hands-on clinical training with an instructor
• Weeks 9-10: Orientation and training within your assigned home clinic alongside a Success Coach

Attendance Requirement

This is an intensive full-time training program . Attendance is mandatory Monday through Friday throughout the entire 10-week cohort . Participants must successfully complete all classroom, clinical, and clinic-based training requirements.

Your Career After the Cohort

Upon successful completion of the program, participants will transition directly into a full-time Medical Assistant position within Saint Luke's Physician Group at their assigned home clinic.
