Job summary

UW Health SwedishAmerican is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join the Home Health team in Rockford. The role is a 100% FTE, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm at UW Health Home Health, 2550 Charles St.

On-site position with multiple compensation components including shift differential, overtime, and on-call pay. Benefits include PTO, health coverage, retirement, tuition assistance, and opportunities for professional growth within UW Health.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associate degree or Medical Assistant program.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in addition to military training.
• Laboratory and phlebotomy training required within 30 days of hire.
• Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.

Qualifications

• Active RMA, AAMA, CCMA or NCCT certification must be maintained. Required
