CareATC is seeking an independent and driven Medical Assistant for a full-time position at LG&E-AOC, providing Occupational Health and some primary care services. This is a benefit-eligible role offering direct patient care at onsite locations in Louisville, Trimble, and Ghent, Kentucky, with travel to other clinics (mileage reimbursed). No nights or weekends are required.

Hours: 32 hours per week

Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Preferred Experience: Occupational Health

About the Role: The Medical Assistant will collaborate with staff providers at LG&E-AOC, Occupational Health, and Primary Care offices, assisting with administrative tasks, occupational testing, and supporting patient visits.

Responsibilities Include:

• Clerical duties such as scheduling, call handling
• Greeting patients and taking vitals
• Physical exams, patient triage, assisting with PFT, EKG, Audiograms
• Exhibiting good clinical judgment within role scope
• Following clinical and clerical protocols
• Travel to onsite clinics (no overnight stays)
