Saint Luke's is offering a 10-week paid Medical Assistant Cohort Program designed to provide education, hands-on training, and support to become a successful Medical Assistant. This full-time, intensive training leads to a full-time MA position within Saint Luke's Physician Group at the participant's home clinic.

Participants gain medical terminology, anatomy basics, pharmacology, patient safety, and BLS certification, with classroom instruction followed by hands-on clinical training and clinic

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year applicable experience
• BLS Certification required by American Heart Association or Red Cross

Responsabilités

• Participate in didactic instruction for medical assisting fundamentals
• Complete hands-on clinical training with an instructor
• Transition into a full-time Medical Assistant role within the home clinic after program completion

Featured Full-Time Opportunity

Upon successful completion of the cohort, participants will transition into a full-time Medical Assistant position with our Float Pool . This opportunity allows you to apply the skills learned during the program while becoming an integral part of a primary care team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care.

Program Structure

• Weeks 1-5: Classroom instruction and skills development
• Weeks 5-8: Hands-on clinical training with an instructor
• Weeks 9-10: Orientation and training within your assigned home clinic alongside a Success Coach

Attendance Requirement

This is an intensive full-time training program . Attendance is mandatory Monday through Friday throughout the entire 10-week cohort . Participants must successfully complete all classroom, clinical, and clinic-based training requirements.

Your Career After the Cohort

Upon successful completion of the program, participants will transition directly into a full-time Medical Assistant position within Saint Luke's Physician Group at their assigned home clinic.
