Job summary

Jefferson Radiology, a Radiology Partners practice in the Greater Connecticut area, seeks staff to support patients before radiology exams, including IR, MRI, and CT procedures. You will verify histories and discuss protocols for each examination, aiding interventional procedures and imaging tests in a high-impact outpatient setting.

CPR/BLS certification and 2+ years of medical office experience are required; CMA/LPN/EMT credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), LPN, or EMT preferred.
• CPR (BLS) required.
• 2+ years of prior medical office experience.
• Interventional Radiology procedures: surgical office/hospital setting experience highly preferred.
• MRI and CT examinations: understanding of MRI and CT procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior support and assistance to patients as they prepare for various Radiology exams, including Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures.
• Will meet with patients to verify their histories and discuss protocols for their examinations and procedures.
• Assistance with Interventional Radiology procedures.
• Assistance with MRI and CT examinations.

Position Summary

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Certified Medical Assistance, LPN, or EMT preferred

• For MRI and CT examinations, must demonstrate an understanding of MRI and CT procedures

COMPENSATION & TOTAL REWARDS

The hourly range for this position is$19.00-$27.00. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications,geographic locationetc. Final compensation is determined based on education, experience, certifications, and geographic factors.
