Job summary

Jefferson Radiology, part of Radiology Partners, is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patients through radiology exams and procedures in an outpatient setting in Connecticut.

You\'ll verify patient histories, prepare protocols, and assist with Interventional Radiology, MRI, and CT procedures under supervision. The role requires CPR (BLS) and 2+ years of medical office experience, with CMA/LPN/EMT preferred.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), LPN, or EMT preferred.
• CPR (BLS) required.
• 2+ years of medical office experience.
• Experience with Interventional Radiology, MRI, or CT is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior support to patients preparing for Radiology exams.

Position Summary:

• Provide superior support and assistance to patients as they prepare for various Radiology exams, including Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures
• Will meet with patients to verify their histories and discuss protocols for their examinations and procedures
• Assistance with Interventional Radiology procedures
• Assistance with MRI and CT examinations

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE :

• Certified Medical Assistance, LPN, or EMT preferred
• CPR (BLS), required
• 2+ years of prior medical office experience
• For Interventional Radiology procedures, surgical office/hospital setting experience highly preferred
• For MRI and CT examinations, must demonstrate an understanding of MRI and CT procedures

The hourly range for this position is$19.00-$27.00. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications,geographic locationetc. Final compensation is determined based on education, experience, certifications, and geographic factors.
