Job summary

Piedmont Urgent Care is hiring a Medical Assistant, EMT Occupational Medicine in Newnan, GA. You will provide hands-on patient care, support clinic operations, and work in a fast-paced clinical environment with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• 1+ year of healthcare experience preferred; new grads welcome.
• Proficiency in venipuncture, injections, and clinical procedures.
• Experience using EMR software, EPIC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations and treatments.
• Perform triage and measure vital signs.
• Document patient history in EMR in a timely manner.
• Collect routine lab specimens and administer medications/injections.
• Start IVs, place catheters, and splint when needed.
• Assist with Occupational Medicine services (drug screening, breath alcohol testing, audiograms, pulmonary function testing).
• Ensure HIPAA and OSHA compliance in daily operations.
• Travel to other Piedmont Urgent Care locations as required.
