Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• 1+ year healthcare experience preferred (urgent care or ER a plus).
• Proficiency in venipuncture, injections, and clinical procedures.
• Experience using EMR software, EPIC preferred.
• Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations and treatments.
• Perform triage and take vital signs.
• Document patient history in EMR.
• Collect routine lab specimens.
• Administer medications and injections.
• Assist with occupational medicine services and procedures.
• Support regulatory compliance and accurate charting.
• Travel to other Piedmont Urgent Care locations as needed.
