Pyramid Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our York, PA team. This full-time role supports medical staff and patients throughout recovery journeys in a behavioral health setting.

The position offers a 7:00 AM–3:00 PM schedule with alternating weekends and a pay range of $15–$16 per hour, depending on experience. Join us to contribute to compassionate, quality care.

Competenze

• Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: Medical Assistant degree or certification.

Mansioni

• Answer phone calls and assist with documentation and filing.
• Maintain and update client medical records.
• Support the admission process and obtain necessary consents.
• Assist with routine medical appointments.
• Take vital signs and collect urine screens, documenting results for clinical review.
• Complete and monitor lab requisitions and review results with the medical team.
• Assist with medication orders and prior authorization processes.
• Schedule follow-up medical appointments and coordinate external referrals.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the medical team.

Location: York, PA

Schedule: Full Time | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Alternating Weekends

Pay: $15–$16 per hour, based on experience
