Job summary

USA Clinics Group in Reno is seeking a Medical Assistant to balance patient needs and maintain efficient clinic flow. You will support the physician before, during, and after procedures to ensure an excellent service experience.

The role requires a Medical Assistant training program completion and 2–5 years of hands-on clinical experience, with proficiency in phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and EMR use. Bilingual Spanish/English is preferred. Part-time schedule with paid training travel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2-5 years hands-on clinical experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Experience vital signs, rooming, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, specimen collection.
• Medical Assistant training program and CMA/RMA/CCMA preferred.
• Fluency in Spanish & English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet, room, and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming experience.
• Document patient vitals, histories, and information in EMR/EHR.
• Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection.
• Document patient interactions in EMR/EHR systems accurately.
• Deliver exceptional patient service in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Utilize EMR platforms such as Epic, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or similar systems.
• Support patient care across physician offices, clinics, urgent care, pharmacies, or hospitals.
