Job summary

The Insomnia & Sleep Institute of Arizona is hiring a Medical Assistant for a high-volume clinic in Scottsdale or Gilbert. You will support front desk operations, take vitals, assist providers, and ensure thorough charting and patient flow.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years MA experience, a valid MA certification and BLS, and comfort with fast-paced changes. Bilingual Spanish is a plus; familiarity with Athena, Luma, Parachute, and Teams is advantageous.

Qualifications

• 5+ years MA experience in a high-volume medical office.
• MA certification and active BLS.
• Proven multitasking and strong organization.
• Punctuality and reliable transportation are required.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.
• Experience with Athena, Luma, Parachute, and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Front desk support: greeting patients, check-in, phone handling.
• Taking vitals, rooming patients, and assisting providers.
• Chart prep, audits, and documentation accuracy.
• Managing prior authorizations and discussing financials.
• Collecting copays and balances; scheduling follow-ups.
• Downloading devices and supporting workflow to meet deadlines.
• Clear communication with patients, providers, and teammates.
