Job summary

NOMS Healthcare in Westlake, Ohio is seeking a Medical Assistant for a full-time, on-site role in our family practice setting. You will support providers with patient care, manage charts, schedule appointments, and assist with in-office procedures.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, completed a medical assisting program, and CMA/RMA certification; at least one year of public contact experience in a medical office is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Graduate of medical assisting program preferred.
• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant certification required (CMA/ RMA/ ABR-OE).
• Minimum of one-year work experience in public contact job, preferably in a medical office.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with patient care and chart management.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow.
• Assist with in-office procedures and clerical duties.
• Maintain infection control and prepare exam rooms.
• Communicate clearly with patients and families.
