Medical Assistant - Facey Medical Foundation

Facey Medical Foundation is hiring Medical Assistants at multiple locations, including Mission Hills, Canyon Country, Porter Ranch, Santa Clarita, Tarzana, and Burbank.

The Medical Assistant (MA) II works under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to perform duties that assist in providing patient care. An MA II performs all aspects of the MA I role and is fully competent in clinical needs/functions for the assigned clinic or location. They are expected to perform in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program with an externship or completed medical training in the U.S. Armed Forces, or
• At least six months of medical assisting experience in a clinical setting, or
• Minimum one year of medical assisting experience including clinical skills such as obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration.
• National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
• Six months of healthcare experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• National Medical Assistant Certification upon hire.

Salary Range

Southern California (Mission Hills, Burbank, Canyon Country, Porter Ranch, Santa Clarita, Valencia): $23.15 - $35.42 per hour.
