  • Secure and manage a comprehensive network of externship sites for Medical Assistant students.
  • Achieve and maintain a minimum 40% extern-to-hire conversion rate.
  • Conduct routine site visits to evaluate student performance.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and accreditation requirements, including TWC regulations.
  • Collaborate with Career Services and placement teams to transition externship participants into full‑time roles.
  • Provide counseling to students on attendance, professionalism, and performance during externships.
  • Conduct externship orientations and assist students with resumes and interview preparation.
  • Maintain documentation including timecards, evaluations, and affiliation agreements.
  • Track student progress and ensure timely completion of final evaluations and exit interviews.
  • Promote the externship program within the medical community through outreach and networking.

  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and accreditation requirements, including adherence to TWC regulations.

  • Provide counseling to students on attendance, professionalism, and performance expectations during their externship placements.
  • Conduct externship orientations and assist students with resume writing and interview preparation to enhance employability.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date documentation, including timecards, evaluations, and affiliation agreements with externship sites.

Qualifications
