Job summary

Logan Health Endocrinology & Infectious Disease in Kalispell, MT is seeking a Registered Medical Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant to join our patient-focused team. You will greet and prepare patients, assist providers, collect specimens, and coordinate care in a collaborative specialty setting.

This role emphasizes compassionate patient care, teamwork, and professional growth within Endocrinology and Infectious Disease services.

Qualifications

Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through an accredited certifying organization.
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through an accredited certifying organization.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a current Montana LPN license.
RQI Provider (BLS) within seven days of hire or before providing independent patient care.

Responsibilities

Greet, room, and prepare patients for appointments, including obtaining medical histories and vital signs.
Assist providers with examinations, treatments, and other clinical needs while maintaining patient comfort and privacy.
Collect laboratory specimens, perform competency-validated clinical tasks, and document patient information in the EMR.
Coordinate patient care activities, including referrals, diagnostic testing, prior authorizations, scheduling, and follow-up appointments.
Support communication with patients regarding appointments, testing, medications, and care coordination.
Maintain exam rooms, equipment, and supplies and assist with patient calls and portal communications.
