Full-time, Monday – Thursday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.; Friday - 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
About The Role
As a Medical Assistant at Quincy Medical Group, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional healthcare services and patient care management within the Endocrinology department. You'll assist providers with both medical and office tasks, ensuring smooth clinic operations and contributing to the best patient experience possible.
Primary Responsibilities
- Escort patients to examination rooms, prepare them for exams, and accurately record vital signs and patient information.
- Assist providers during examinations and medical procedures.
- Assist with thyroid biopsies, work with glucose monitors including downloads and training.
- Coordinate referral appointments, medication refills, and other patient needs.
- Handle incoming and outgoing calls to ensure accurate communication of patient information.
- Schedule ancillary tests and procedures as directed, and communicate test results and follow-up instructions to patients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the office and medical equipment.
- Serve as a patient coach, offering support and care coordination.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support clinic operations.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- CPR certification required (available upon hire).
- Medical Assistant certification preferred.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience as a CNA, PCA, or MA is preferred but not required.
- Open to learning medical terminology and expanding healthcare knowledge.
