Job summary

Crossover Health Medical Group, APC is seeking a Medical Assistant to deliver an exceptional patient and member experience in our clinic. You will assist with check-in, manage insurance details, and support clinicians with vitals, history taking, and procedures.

Ideal candidates have an accredited Medical Assistant program, at least 2 years of back-office experience, BLS certification, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant or surgical technician program.
• Minimum of 2 years comparable clinical back office medical assistant experience.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• Excellent computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft products.
• Reading, writing, and excellent oral proficiency in English.
• Strong organizational and follow-through skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of ownership, accountability and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Take medical histories, measure patient vitals, and assist the clinician with care of the patient.
• Handle inventory, orders, and replenish medical supplies and materials.
• Provide phlebotomy services and immunization services.
• Welcomes each member with hospitality and professionalism.
• Assist with the member check-in process, understanding benefit eligibility files and clinic workflows.
• Assist with transactions to begin or complete the visit, and respond to member needs.
