You will assist with tests, injections, and contacts, while ensuring smooth patient check-in/out and scheduling in a small office The ideal candidate has MA certification, at least 2 years of MA experience, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant required.
• EMR experience and at least 2 years of MA experience required.
• Computer proficiency and strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for the patient visit, including pulling charts and notes, as well as setting up medical equipment
• Prepare patients for Physician
• Take initial history
• Check patient vitals
• Check medications
• Print lab results
• Blood Draws and injections
• Prepare specimen for lab pick-up
• Answer phone calls
• Create telephone encounters
• Patient Check-in/out
• Collect co-pays and balances
• Schedule appointments
• Clean instruments and equipment after use
• Assist providers with basic medical care and procedures
• Track lab results and handle basic medical office duties
• perform other duties as assigned by Management
