Indiana University Health is seeking a Medical Assistant Educator to develop, onboard, and educate Medical Assistants across the West Region. You will lead classroom and hands-on training, coordinate student placements, and partner with clinical leaders to advance workforce development.

The role emphasizes learner success, collaboration with education teams, and ongoing professional growth for staff and students. Occasional travel to Indianapolis may be required as part of regional initiatives.

Formación

• Requires Associate's Degree and CMA/CCMA/NCMA/CMAC certification.
• Minimum 3–5 years of ambulatory experience and 1 year teaching or equivalent.
• Experience onboarding and developing new employees; adult education knowledge welcomed.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate external Medical Assistant student placements from onboarding to program completion.
• Facilitate classroom, virtual, and onsite educational programs.
• Support orientation, onboarding, competency validation, and continuing education initiatives.
• Serve as SME for Medical Assistants and operational leaders.
• Partner with West Region clinics to identify training needs.
• Maintain records related to student placements, training completion, and compliance.
