Job summary

Snoqualmie Valley Health is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to perform administrative and clinical tasks under physician supervision. Responsibilities include scheduling, charting, venipuncture, EKGs, vitals, and assisting with procedures.

The role requires MA certification/WA registration, completion of an accredited MA program, and an externship. Benefits are provided; this is a full-time, day-shift position in Snoqualmie, WA.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Successful completion of a Medical Assisting externship.
• MA certification or MA registration active with the State of Washington.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients to obtain current condition/complaint and record vital signs.
• Perform administrative duties: scheduling, billing and coding, and medical records maintenance.
• Assist physician with examinations and procedures; prepare patients and chart history.
• Collect specimens, perform waived tests, and ensure proper quality controls.
• Enter orders/referrals into EMR and communicate treatment plans to patients.
• Maintain vaccine records and assist with prescription refills and paperwork.
• Uphold patient privacy, HIPAA compliance, and participate in meetings as requested.
