Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Current BLS or Heart Saver certification from the American Heart Association; if not on hire, must obtain within 3 months.
• Medical Assistant credential approved by MA Dept of Health within 1 year from hire/transfer.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to examination rooms and record vital signs.
• Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and Point-of-Care tests.
• Assist with injections within scope of practice and routine physicals.
• Review lab results and promptly inform physicians of abnormalities.
