Job summary

RENAL MEDICINE ASSOCIATES LTD in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant for a Monday-Friday day shift. The position includes a comprehensive benefits package with medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401K, PTO from day 1, paid sick time, and seven paid holidays.

The MA will support physicians with patient care, record-keeping, and clinic operations to ensure a smooth, compliant workflow.

Qualifications

• BLS certification is required.
• High school diploma is required.
• Medical assistant certification is required.
• Knowledge of EHR system is preferred.
• Exceptional customer service is required.
• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient exam rooms and assist physicians with patient care.
• Take medical histories, document vital signs, and collect specimens.
• Maintain patient records and ensure information security per regulations.
• Coordinate with Clinical Manager and nephrologists to support patient care.
• Ensure supplies are stocked and equipment is functional.
• Adhere to clinic policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
