Job summary

Ardent is seeking a Day Shift, full-time Pain Management Medical Assistant in Albuquerque, NM. The MA will provide superior patient care and perform administrative and delegated clinical tasks within a clinic-based environment under the physician/APP team.

Required: High school diploma or GED, basic EMR, Microsoft Office, and BLS within 14 days of hire. Preferred: Associate’s degree, MA program completion, prior clinic/hospital experience, CMA or RMA certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Basic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) usage is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• The Medical Assistant Non-Certified provides superior patient care and performs administrative and delegated clinical tasks that support patients in a clinic-based environment as part of a care team led by the physician and/or advanced practice provider.
