Avera Health's Family Health Center Marion Rd in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinic operations under physician supervision. You will perform selected medical assistant duties, document procedures, and help ensure smooth patient flow.

Key activities include patient interviewing, vital signs, specimen labeling, lab processing, and patient education on procedures and wellness. Strong communication and teamwork are essential, with PTO benefits and career development

Competenze

• Must be able to perform essential job functions with basic visual acuity.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to hear and distinguish speech.
• Demonstrates basic knowledge of clinical procedures and patient care.

Mansioni

• Assists in patient care as directed by provider.
• Documents procedures accurately in the medical record.
• Maintains timely flow of patients.
• Instructs patients on samples, tests, meds, nutrition and wellness.
• Greets patients and collects history and vital signs.
