Job summary

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or CCMA/CMA/NCMA credentials or equal certification per accrediting body.
• Experience in clinical settings and ability to document accurately.
• Good communication and patient interaction skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist provider with patient care as directed by the clinician.
• Document patient procedures accurately in the medical record.
• Collect specimens and perform tests as directed.
• Greet patients and conduct clinical interviews, including vitals and history.
• Maintain exam room readiness and ensure proper sterilization and waste handling.
• Provide education to patients and families about procedures and health maintenance.
