Job summary

Ascension in Glendale, Wisconsin is seeking a PRN Day Shift team member in the Float department to provide clinical support under supervision. You will interview patients, take vital signs, prepare rooms, and perform basic clerical duties to keep workflows smooth.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent (or relevant experience) and a current BLS certification within 30 days. Epic experience is preferred, with benefits focused on well-being and professional growth.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire date required; AHA or ARC accepted.
• High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience.
• Required licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience.
• Epic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with treatments ordered by physician as supervised by physician or registered nurse.
• Interview patients, measure vital signs, and record information on patients' charts.
• Prepare treatment rooms for examination of patients.
• Perform basic clerical duties including answering the phone, maintaining records, and filing.
• Perform basic materials management functions to include ordering and stocking of supplies.
