Centennial Heart in Nashville, TN is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join a patient-centered practice. You will support clinicians by preparing patients, taking histories and vital signs, and ensuring exam rooms are ready with sterile supplies.

This full-time, days-only role offers a collaborative team environment with no nights, no weekends, and no holidays, emphasizing high-quality care. Certification options are available; new graduates have 60 days to obtain MA certification.

Qualifications

• One year of Medical Assisting or other direct clinical patient care experience in a healthcare setting.
• High School Diploma or GED Required.
• Certification/licensing: 3 ways to qualify: MA Certification (RMA, CCMA, CMA, NCMA, NRCMA) or ABR-OE credentials or completion of MA program with certification within 60 days or after one year of work without certification must obtain within one year.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination by taking histories and vital signs.
• Prepare exam and treatment rooms with instruments and maintain supplies and equipment.
• Administer injections and assist with lab testing and phlebotomy.
• Assist physicians in minor surgeries and physicals.
• Answer practice calls and screen for referrals.
