Midwest Breast Care in Leawood, KS is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team on a full-time, daytime schedule.

You will take patient histories and vitals, prepare exam rooms, assist with injections and phlebotomy, and support physicians during minor procedures to help deliver quality patient care.

This role requires at least one year of direct clinical experience and completion of a medical assisting program or equivalent credential.

Qualifications

• One year of Medical Assisting or direct clinical patient care experience.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Certification options: RMA, CCMA, CMA, NCMA, NRCMA or ABR-OE credentials are acceptable.

Responsabilités

• Prepare patients for examination by taking histories and vital signs.
• Prepare exam rooms with instruments and maintain supplies and equipment including sterilization.
• Administer injections and assist with lab testing and phlebotomy.
• Assist physicians in minor surgeries and physicals.
• Answer calls and screen referrals for the practice.
