• At least 1 year of medical assisting or direct clinical patient care experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certification within 60 days if recently graduated; MA certs accepted: RMA, CCMA, CMA, NCMA, NRCMA, ABR-OE.

• Prepare patients for examination by taking histories and vital signs.
• Set up exam/treatment rooms and maintain supplies/equipment.
• Administer injections and assist with lab testing (phlebotomy).
• Assist physicians with minor surgeries and physicals.
• Answer practice calls and screen for referrals.
