Family Health Medical Group in Overland Park, KS seeks a Medical Assistant to provide clinical support, take histories and vitals, prep exam rooms, assist with injections and lab work, and support physicians during minor procedures.

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, with no nights or weekends. Requires at least one year of MA experience, HS diploma, and MA certification; recent grads must obtain certification within 60 days.

Qualificações

• One year of Medical Assisting or direct clinical patient care experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant Certification required; acceptable: RMA, CCMA, CMA, NCMA, NRCMA, ABR-OE.
• Recent graduates must obtain MA certification within 60 days of employment.
• Incumbents without MA Certification must obtain certification within one year of hire date.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare patients for examination by taking histories and vital signs.
• Prepare exam and treatment rooms with instruments and supplies, including sterilization.
• Administer injections and assist with lab testing and phlebotomy.
• Assist physicians in minor surgeries and physicals.
• Answer calls and screen referrals for the practice.
