Advocate Medical Group (AMG) in Crystal Lake is seeking a Medical Assistant to support the care team in a clinic-based outpatient setting. Primary location is Crystal Lake with a possible floating opportunity to the Barrington Office location, schedule Monday through Friday, 8am–5pm, with no weekends or holidays.

The role involves assisting providers, taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, administering meds and vaccines, and documenting care in the EHR, all while upholding patient

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of a medical assistant program or successful completion of the certification/registration exam.
• Phlebotomy skills are preferred.

Aufgaben

• Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
• Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.
