Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to support providers in delivering exceptional patient care. You will work directly with patients, assist with clinical procedures, support care coordination, and help create a positive healthcare experience daily.

Responsibilities include welcoming patients, recording histories and vitals, assisting with exams, administering medications, and educating patients.

Qualifications

• 0–1 year clinical experience preferred.
• If no MA program completed, 2+ years clinical experience required.
• Current MA recertification CEUs must be maintained if credentialed.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and prepare patients for appointments.
• Collect and document patient histories, vital signs, and health information.
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, testing, and specimen collection.
• Administer medications and perform diagnostic testing as directed.
• Communicate test results and provider instructions to patients.
• Provide patient and family education to support better health outcomes.
• Coordinate care between patients and providers.
• Support quality improvement and disease management programs.
