Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a Medical Assistant to perform direct and indirect care in an ambulatory setting under physician supervision. The MA will be part of the care team, executing delegated tasks per the patient care plan and clinic policies, while maintaining BLS competency and strong communication.

Daytime hours are 7:00–16:00, Monday to Friday, with a 80-hour pay period. On-site role at a Mayo Clinic site in Arizona with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Arizona: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Graduate from a Medical Assistant diploma or associate degree program.
• Active CMA, RMA or CCMA certification required or eligible.
• Maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) competency.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Experience working in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct and indirect care tasks in ambulatory settings under physician supervision.
• Collaborates with health care team to meet patient/family needs.
• Follows patient care plan, policies and procedures, and uses relationship-based care principles.
